Dear Waiver Participant:
Welcome! We are eager to begin working with you and your self-directed services. We are nearing the end of the transition from
Charles Lea to Morning Sun Financial Services for individuals with services through South Carolina’s Department of Disabilities and
Special Needs (DDSN). If you have not completed your paperwork, it is urgent that you take the necessary steps at this time. The
paperwork is due to Morning Sun by May 20, 2024.

You should have received your employer enrollment packet with instructions as well as your employee packet. Additional employee
packets are available upon request and can be found on our website at https://morningsunfs.com/states/south-carolina/. Once your
packets have been completed and your start date is confirmed, you will receive an official “Good to Go” notification alerting you
of your start date. Timesheets for services should be sent to Morning Sun no later than noon EST on the Monday following your
start date as indicated in the timesheet instructions. We will work with Charles Lea to ensure you are paid for the whole week.
Morning Sun is offering several options to support you in the enrollment process.

We will provide webinars for virtual training on completing the enrollment paperwork. The link to our webinar will be posted on

• Friday May 10, 2024 – 10:00am EST
• Thursday May 16, 2024 – 2:00pm EST

Finally, we will hold in-person enrollment meetings.
